This series is designed for use cases where maximum precision is not the top priority, but reliability, robustness, and an attractive price-performance ratio are essential. Featuring an output stage from our proven precision series, the NDFC gearboxes are positioned below the NDF series while maintaining the trusted sealing concept and the dynamic, inertia-reducing clamping system on the drive side.
The NDFC series includes three frame sizes (064, 090, and 110) and, with its two-stage ratios ranging from 16 to 100, covers a wide range of applications. Standard torsional backlash is less than five arcminutes and can be optimized to under three arcminutes for frame size 064 and under one arcminute for frame sizes 090 and 110. This allows users to choose precisely the level of precision required for their application, while realizing additional cost savings if the standard backlash is sufficient.
Gearboxes suited for delta robots

NDFC gearboxes are particularly well-suited for delta robots (two- and three-axis delta robots). In packaging systems such as end-of-line palletizing and sorting systems in the food and beverage industry, they ensure reliable cycle times and high system availability. Compact delta robots with small work envelopes also benefit from the balanced combination of dynamics, stiffness, and efficiency, especially in frame size 064.
Neugart offers a range of options tailored for demanding environments. Food-grade lubrication is available without compromising performance. A painted surface and a nickel-plated output flange combined with a stainless-steel output shaft provide enhanced corrosion protection, making the NDFC ideal for use in pharmaceutical and food and beverage applications.
With the NDFC series, they created a cost-effective alternative to the high-performance NDF solution. This addition expands our robotics portfolio and enables fast, reliable, and affordable implementation of delta robot systems.
