From hermetically sealed single packs to product display cartoning, visitors will explore advanced packaging technologies that bring together performance, precision, and intelligent design.
At interpack 2026 in Düsseldorf, from May 7 to 13, LoeschPack and its sister company Hastamat will showcase selected innovations for packaging machines and integrated solutions in Hall 14, booth C22.
Central to their trade fair presence is a packaging line developed in collaboration with sister company, Hastamat, which combines both companies’ capabilities into a seamless, high-performance system solution. The integrated line, comprising the FHW-S horizontal flow wrapping machine and the new KBM block bottom bag machine, demonstrates how sustainable paper-based, primary and secondary packaging can be seamlessly integrated, from product handling to the finished supermarket-ready pack. At Interpack, Loesch will also unveil its new high-performance fold wrap machine for chocolate bars. “This new development is a fundamentally redesigned machine concept that consistently integrates performance, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness,” says Dr. Ferdinand Schwarzfischer, Chief Technology Officer at Loesch. The company will also demonstrate additional systems for various packaging strategies to trade show visitors as well as a cross section of its portfolio of special-purpose machines.
A new chapter in chocolate packaging

With the world equipment premiere at Interpack of their completely new, two-stage fold wrapping machine, Loesch is sending a clear signal of its dedication to technological innovation. The new machine embodies an approach reimagined from the ground up, combining high performance, versatile application options, and precise packaging quality in a compact overall design.
The new development builds on decades of expertise in two-stage fold wrapping packaging as well as close collaboration with demanding customers worldwide. The development draws on experience from hundreds of completed projects. The aim was to further refine proven technologies and bring them into line with the demands of today’s international customer, with the prioritization of high performance, energy efficiency, reduced energy consumption, and quick and easy format changeovers. Our compact machine design with a narrow footprint and optimal accessibility for cleaning and maintenance elevates both cost‑effectiveness and system availability. Visitors will experience the machine, live, for the first time. Modern drive and control concepts, optimized process flows, and numerous design details clearly demonstrate how new industry benchmarks are set for efficiency, product protection, and profitability.
Hermetically sealed chocolate products

Loesch’s RCB-HS wrapping-head machine delivers Ultra HighPerformance and reliably tight packaging for small chocolate products. The machine merges the strengths of classic fold wrapping with an allaround, hermetic heat seal, and thus delivers a packaging solution that combines the premium look with maximum barrier performance in a single process.
The core technological component is an all-around “film-to-film” heat seal applied to paper-based packaging material. The fully closed seal seam creates a well-defined, tightly sealed pack chamber that reliably protects the product under harsh climatic conditions and on international transport routes. The packaging process marries functional, hermetic sealing with an upscale, premium appearance.
In the high-performance configuration, the RCB-HS variant can process up to 600 products per minute. The hygienic, compact design helps maintain a controlled process environment and facilitates cleaning and maintenance. As the extended‑format, RCB‑H variant, the machine can produce up to 450 small bars per minute, and in open fold wrapping it can reach up to 800 products per minute.
Display cartons of every kind
Loesch’s C-series CMT cartoning machine delivers a compact, flexible, and powerful solution for the efficient, high-volume production of a wide range of display cartons. The machine precisely erects flat carton blanks, loads them with prepackaged confectionery and other food and non‑food products, and reliably seals them for transport and presentation at the point of sale. During product infeed, the CMT processes up to 1,000 products per minute and achieves a maximum output of up to 200 cartons per minute. This makes it especially well-suited for high-volume applications and fast-changing market demands. Its modular platform architecture enables flexible adaptation of the machine to various format ranges and configurations. Whether products are laid horizontally, placed upright, or oriented on their side, and whether using inline highperformance infeed or a 90° infeed, with or without a transformation wheel, the CMT supports a wide range of applications. Carton variants, with or without a lid, can also be implemented reliably.
Innovative system solutions from a single source
“In addition to individual machines, our customers are increasingly looking for complete packaging systems from a single source,” says Schwarzfischer. The packaging machinery manufacturer is responding with special-purpose and turnkey solutions for end-to-end packaging. “We design effective solutions for emerging challenges and evolving requirements,” explains Schwarzfischer. Whether developing solutions for new industries and technologies, adapting processes from established sectors, or facilitating technology transfer, Loesch is working intensively on hygiene and cleaning, packaging regulations, alternative packaging materials, and reducing compressed air use in machines. “Our goal is to collaborate with our clients to review and optimize their processes in accordance with our motto, ‘Packaging your ideas…’.”
Comprehensive service for all facets of packaging
Loesch provides the right service for every stage of a machine’s life cycle. “Our customers’ sites span the globe. We handle every aspect of packaging, from pre-sales support to user training.” Using a digital parts catalog, customers can order spare parts and download operating instructions and circuit diagrams. Guided format changeovers with step-by-step instructions enables accurate, rapid implementation and the minimization of training effort. Loesch’s Remote Service allows experts to provide customers with remote maintenance support. They obtain comprehensive data through optional production data acquisition. “Recording machine data helps us trace the life cycle, assess the condition of the machines, identify optimization potential, and pinpoint faults at customer sites,” explains Schwarzfischer. Plant operators can expand their knowledge in machine courses culminating in a Training Certificate. LoeschPack also uses virtual reality to provide hands-on training. “Our customers train on a digital twin of their machine in a safe working environment, even before it arrives at their site.”
