Palletising and depalletising: 85% of export with a turnover of 30 millions of euro with 130 employees
Clevertech met the expectations of the worldwide market, enabling it to rapidly become a leading company in the sector. The exports reached 85% of total turnover of around 30 million Euros, thanks to the support of our 130 employees and 75 contractors who work at the 6,000 m² premises in the italian “packaging valley”.
The pet food sector: palletizing 2,200 cans per minute
Clevertech created a palletisation system for loose full aluminium cans. This required the creation of the fastest machine in the world, one never before created for this application, able to palletize almost 2200 cans, with up to 10 layers, per minute.
RAP FC Hurricane is the palletising system developed by Clevertech:
the RAP FC Hurricane palletiser for full cans. The solution is composed of a high-speed belt conveyor for layer forming, which is able to manage around ten layers per minute without generating backup pressure or overlapping can edges, which would impede the pick-and-place system.
Robotic pick and place system with a vision system for correct positioning
Clevertech’s patented layer forming belt also incorporates a special device to prevent voids in the corners of the layer.
The layer picking system uses a robotic pick and place system with vacuum head specifically created for this application.
Two additional robots are incorporated in the system for the layer pad supply, working alternately with the main robot with a vision system to ensure correct positioning and centring of the pad on the layer. The performance data are around 2,200 cans/min, 20 pallets/hour with an efficiency at 99%.
