The PET and R-PET jars and bottles to fulfill the diverse needs of the market
Acti Pack offers a wide range of PET jars from 50 ml to 5,000 ml for pasty or dry products such as spices, dried fruits, honeys, spreads, and ice creams to fulfill the diverse needs of the market. The product ranges come standard with a variety of closing solutions that are tailored to the needs of the customer: dispensing closures, grinders, and complete packaging solutions that are ready to fill. Complementary to the ranges of PET jars, Acti Pack is offering squeezers and bottles in PET and R-PET for liquid and semi-liquid food applications. These ranges are completing the offer from Acti Pack and are targeting specific segments of the market suitable for PET packaging: oils, vinegars, salad dressings, sirups, salted or sweet sauces, coulis. Available from 180 ml to 900 ml, the bottles and squeezers in PET are developed from standard food necks diameter 38 mm and 29/21 allowing the use of many existing solutions of standard closures such as pouring and dispensing caps with or without ventil.
Lately a new line of PET jars was launched for the packing of pastry decoration. Available from 100 ml to 250 ml, the brand-new range Next is suitable for all screw or dispensing closures from the group. With a cylindrical basis for an easy labeling, the generous shapes of this new design make it a gourmet and tempting range perfect for decorations.
Heat resistance for hot filling technology
Acti Pack is offering new applications to its PET bottles and jars thanks to HOT FILL ISBM technology improving PET packaging heat resistance. Then products with temperature constraints such as jams, sauces or pasteurised products have new packing solutions in PET. Hot filling technology is used to improve product shelf life or to facilitate the filling of products with high viscosity. The heat resistance will be optimum with the use of specific “Hot Fill” PET raw material. The addition of improving oxygen barrier agent will increase the shelf life of the product. For products with less restricting heat resistance, standard PET raw material can be used.
A new “Hot Fill” range is widening the offer: PET bottle VOLCANO is available in 500 ml and adapted to filling temperature of 90°C maximum, maximum filling temperature that may vary according to filled products, process of filling and cooling and storage condition. Developed with standard neck screw 38 mm, “Volcano” is suiting several existing closures from the market, with or without valve, with different sealing possibilities.
Alternative packaging solutions using eco responsible raw materials
The complete range of PET products can be customized on request in including UV barrier or masterbatch during production. Acti Pack has been committed for many years to respect and protect the environment and to ecoconception demarch of their packaging. To support customers, they offer alternative packaging solutions in using eco-responsible raw materials. Then the complete ranges of PET bottles and jars, standard or customized, are available including PCR PET. On customers’ requests, the productions can be made in integrating different rates of recycled PET from 25% to 100%. The RPET material is certified food contact and is 100% recyclable.
Acti Pack is also engaged to propose lightweight solutions in order to reduce at the maximum the weight of packaging maintaining the necessary properties for the packing of products.
