Baumer shrinkwrappers, in addition to being equipped with their patented 90° infeed system, which makes them among the most compact machines on the market, are equipped with the New Greentech® Shrink Tunnel which guarantees energy savings of over 20% compared to older generation tunnels.

For the Wrap-Around case packers, on the other hand, as there is no shrink tunnel to drive up production costs, particular attention has been paid to reducing raw materials, launching solutions that allow as little cardboard as possible to be used.
The applications developed in this case are two. The carton picking system works in vacuum, without the use of chains, and this allows us to work with any type of cardboard, even ultra-thin ones.
On the other hand, if a customer requires more protection for their products and needs a partition system, Baumer’s solution is called the Non-Preformed Partition System with Insertion From Below®. This solution works with simple cardboard flaps that are inserted in a continuous motion, forming the partition around the products from a simple cardboard flap. A simple solution, but one that saves over 30% of cardboard compared to standard competitor solutions.
