The expanded portfolio now includes multi-piece linear guides with total lengths of up to 50 meters, enabling precise linear motion even in large and demanding applications. A newly introduced underside mounting option helps maintain cleaner guide surfaces, contributing to longer service life and reduced maintenance requirements. To further enhance system functionality, Bosch Rexroth has added manual clamping units to the accessory range, providing additional flexibility for a wide variety of machine concepts.
With these enhancements, the BSCL ball rail system delivers an even more versatile and cost-effective solution while maintaining the high performance, reliability and engineering quality expected from Bosch Rexroth.
BSCL ball rail systems for the mid-range performance segment
Bosch Rexroth has improved the BSCL ball rail systems for the mid-range performance segment: the portfolio now includes multi-piece guide rails in lengths of up to 50 m, a simple fixing option, and manual clamping units as accessories. Thanks to more efficient production, the price-optimized linear guide is now available in the usual Rexroth quality, and covers an even wider range of applications.

The BSCL (Ball Rail System Compact Line) ball rail systems are ideally suited for simple and demanding applications in automation, woodworking, the electronics industry, battery manufacturing, the printing industry, or as feed axes.
As part of the portfolio expansion, up to 15 individual pieces can now be combined to form one long linear guide with a length of up to 50 m. Multi-piece guide rails allow specific lengths, for example in timber construction or the printing industry, to be realized cost-effectively. Another new feature is the possibility of fixing from below. Unlike when fixing the guide rails from above, it eliminates the need for caps. At the same time, the smooth surface reduces abrasion and wear, which extends the service life. Compared to a guide rail with a cover strip, no additional assembly effort is required. Fixing from below is beneficial, for example, in environments with high levels of dirt or dust, such as in the woodworking or packaging industry. Furthermore, Bosch Rexroth now also offers manual clamping units for the BSCL, thereby simplifying the purchasing and procurement of the linear guide and its accessories. Clamping units are primarily used to secure workpieces in place so that they can be machined safely, accurately, and with repeatability.
The sealing concept, which is optimized for a longer service life, offers greater profitability, as does the simple cutting to length and machining of the ends without deburring and timeconsuming chamfering.
Thanks to the flexible interchangeable design, runner blocks of different accuracies and preload classes as well as the profiled rail systems in the Rexroth range that are the same size as the BSCL can also be combined with one another as required. This simplifies logistics and reduces the cost of servicing.
Optimally positioned between high-precision guides and shaft guides
With a C50 dyn load capacity of up to 99,800 N and a maximum speed of up to 5 m/s, the BSCL series closes the gap in the mid-range performance segment between the high-precision ball or roller rail systems and linear bushing or cam roller guides. The BSCL ball rail systems are available in six sizes from 15 to 45 (15, 20, 25,30, 35 and 45) with six runner block designs (flange or slimline design) as well as in three preload classes and the three accuracy classes N, H, P.
The BSCL ball rail system can be selected, configured, and ordered online in just a few minutes via the Linear Motion Technology Selector. All product-relevant information including a CAD model is also provided. The global Rexroth sales and service network ensures quick delivery and maximum availability.
