Automation expert B&R showcased open solutions with Codian robot mechanics at this year’s PackExpo in Las Vegas. Codian has been incorporated and rebranded within B&R.

The visitors to the PackExpo trade show in Las Vegas had the chance to see the entire Codian portfolio, currently with more than 100 variants, including class-leading hygienic models ideal for applications such as food and beverage and pharmaceutical packaging.
Also during the Las Vegas fair, B&R also showed numerous visitors how robotics works in seamless synchronization with mechatronic product transport systems such as ACOPOStrak and ACOPOS 6D, as well as with machine vision. Visitors had the opportunity to see B&R’s world-class portfolio of motion and control technologies to create adaptive manufacturing solutions with the ability to dynamically change between different products and packaging, enabling profitable mass customization.
