Across more than 4,500 sqm and 38 machines in live motion, attendees will enter a place where technology feels intuitive, where intelligence flows naturally between humans, systems and services, and where automation becomes something more: a connected experience designed around people, performance, and possibility.
At the heart of IMA booth lies The Loop, the Group’s immersive innovation space. Here, cutting edge ideas come alive: autonomous robotics, AI driven interactions, and glimpses of how tomorrow’s production environments will think, adapt and evolve, making concrete IMA’s vision of the future of automation, the Cognitive Manufacturing.
Visitors’ journey continues inside the new IMA Service, where Group’s digital universe expands into advanced insights, proactive care and seamless support, redefining what service can be when everything speaks the same intelligent language.
Attendees will also encounter IMA OPENLab, the Group’s world dedicated to materials, sustainability and the future of processing and packaging. A place where creativity meets science, and innovation reshapes what’s possible.
TTR EVO, powering sustainable coffee through smart roasting
Sustainability is no longer a future ambition in coffee production: it is a decisive competitive advantage. As energy efficiency, environmental responsibility, and product quality converge, roasting technology is emerging as one of the most powerful levers for creating long-term value across the coffee industry.
Among the key solutions showcased at Interpack 2026, the new TTR EVO series designed by IMA Petroncini – company of the IMA Coffee Hub – represents the next evolution of industrial roasting, combining sustainability, energy efficiency, and advanced digital control. Designed to meet the needs of modern roasteries, the range integrates cutting-edge technologies to deliver consistent performance, process reliability, and high-quality cup results.
At the core of the innovation is the hot-air recirculation system, which enables the recovery and reuse of thermal energy generated during the roasting process. By redirecting hot air—at a variable rate from 0 to 100%—back into the heat generator and drum, the system significantly reduces the need for additional energy input. This results in energy savings of up to 30% compared to traditional open-cycle roasters, while also lowering CO₂ emissions and maintaining stable roasting conditions.
The optimized thermal flows and high-performance insulation further enhance energy efficiency by minimizing heat losses and improving heat exchange within the roasting drum. This ensures uniform bean development, reduces the risk of uneven roasting, and guarantees repeatability of roasting profiles without compromising final product quality.
VIRTUO, supervision platform for TTR EVO, a digital partner for the roaster

TTR EVO is equipped with integrated sensors and advanced digital control systems, powered by VIRTUO, a sophisticated supervision platform that acts as a true digital partner for the roaster. The system enables real-time monitoring of process parameters, precise adjustment of roasting variables, including recirculation rate, and full management, storage, and comparison of roasting profiles. Complete traceability of each roasting cycle, both during and after production, supports a data-driven and quality-oriented approach.
From a design perspective, the TTR EVO series is developed according to eco-design principles, using low-impact, recyclable, and long-lasting materials. The robust and modular structure ensures high operational reliability, facilitates maintenance, and allows easy access for cleaning operations, reducing downtime and preserving long-term performance.
Special attention is also given to product and machine protection: controlled and uniform temperatures prevent localized overheating, while optimized drum paddle geometry ensures gentle and homogeneous bean mixing, avoiding breakage and preserving the organoleptic integrity of the coffee.
Available in multiple capacities – from R&D applications to large-scale industrial production – the TTR EVO series provides a flexible solution for roasteries aiming to combine productivity, sustainability, and advanced process control.
With TTR EVO, IMA Coffee Hub reinforces its commitment to driving innovation across the coffee value chain, supporting a more efficient, sustainable, and technologically advanced roasting.
Attendees from all over the world will have the chance to discover many new machines and innovations developed by the main sectors of the IMA Group, namely Pharma, Medical Device Assembly and Consumer (Food, Personal Care and E-Commerce Packaging).
