Promising market signals: with a strong turnout of 30,821 visitors – 84% of whom hailed from Germany and the European Union – BrauBeviale 2024 reinforced its position as a must-attend event for industry professionals. Encouragingly, the sector is showing signs of renewed energy, with a notable increase in investment activities, signaling a bright future for the industry.
A Hub for Exchange and Innovation
The event once again highlighted the beverage sector’s commitment to dialogue and knowledge sharing. As companies navigate a dynamic market landscape, BrauBeviale remains a crucial platform for exchanging ideas, exploring innovations, and building partnerships that drive the industry forward.
Featuring 858 exhibitors across the net exhibition area of 35,403 m², BrauBeviale 2024 once again met the expectations of visitors. In addition to extensive exhibition areas, BrauBeviale 2024 offered special areas for enriching lecture programmes. The focus on topics dedicated to raw materials & marketing, technology & packaging was central to the discussions, providing visitors with invaluable insights into current trends and developments.
Trade fairs provide impetus for investment
In 2024, around 10% of the exhibitors were new or returning exhibitors, underscoring the brewing and beverage sector’s appeal to a wide range of suppliers. “Exhibitors are clearly more strategic in selecting their stand sizes, which is reflected in a 9% decrease in the total space sold at this year’s event,” explained Rolf Keller, Managing Director of trade fair organiser YONTEX. “However, this should not be interpreted as a sign of pessimism in the industry. On the contrary, many exhibitors, including market leaders, have indicated that investment activity is on the rise. Preliminary analysis of the visitor profile shows a significant increase in the proportion of decision-makers attending.”
Visitors also recognise the vital role of the trade fair in providing a comprehensive overview of the latest industry developments. “According to the impressions of visitors, the overall breadth of BrauBeviale has become the key factor in attracting visitors. It is no longer enough for the industry professionals to simply visit individual exhibition stands. The overarching view is also important,” emphasises Andrea Kalrait, Executive Director BrauBeviale.
The next date has already been set
