The international leading clipping machine manufacturer and provider of complete clipping closure solutions will present its extensive product line at the trade event. This will include applications for skilled trades and industrial meat processing facilities. The company focusses on resource conservation with machines from the highly energy-efficient FCA product family ‘Green Series’, which include an environmentally friendly jumbo spool and the material-saving clip-pak® clip-closure solution for liquids, paste-like, and highly viscous products.
At SÜFFA, Poly-clip System will exhibit a representative cross-section of the company portfolio, including the following products, representing industrial or skilled trades applications:
Automatic Double-Clipper FCA 140 GS: even greater sustainability with jumbo spool As a provider of sustainable packaging solutions, Poly-clip System strives to make its customers more successful in their daily competition while reducing their carbon footprint.
With this focus, Poly-clip System has further developed the FCA series as the “Green Series”. This features the latest energy-saving technologies for clip machines.
The FCA 140 Green Series exhibited at SÜFFA impresses with 5% less energy consumption in normal operation, 7% less energy consumption with intelligent lubrication, and 9% less energy consumption when run with IFC interface. Furthermore, the FCA 140 GS convinces with its high speed of up to 156 cycles per minute for medium and larger calibers as well as a short downtime for casing change and maintenance with higher safety.
Similarly to various other models from the Poly-clip System portfolio, this fully automatic, energy-saving FCA 140 machine from the new “Green Series” can be equipped with the new jumbo spool for a more sustainable use of consumables. With up to 50 percent more clips on just one spool, fewer changes are required. This ensures more efficient processes, less machine downtime – and ultimately, reduced waste production.
Another customer benefit is the fully hygienic conveyor, which can be removed with one handle and ensures optimum cleaning. In addition, the robust stainless steel hygienic design ensures maximum reliability and a long service life.
Product labeling during ongoing production with the ES 6000 labeling system
The innovative ES 6000 labeling system, which was first developed for the PDC and PDC-A series of Poly-clip machines, impresses with its product labeling during ongoing production.
The labeling naturally complies with EU directives (Food Information Regulation [LMIV] [EU] No. 1169/201) and is attached directly to the product in a tamper-proof manner during clipping – applicable for all plastic, fiber, collagen and natural casings.
Direct batch tracing is guaranteed by printing all product-specific and up-to-date information on the label, which is resistant to rubbing and boiling to prevent smudging of the printed image. With the individual layout design of the labels, such as printing your own company logo, barcodes and QR codes, a high degree of flexibility is guaranteed. In addition, the ES 6000 labeling system impresses with its low cost per print, at 5,000 labels per roll.
At this year’s SÜFFA, the ES 6000 labeling system will be exhibited in conjunction with the PDC 700 semi-automatic double clipper, with its unique split magazine bar for ergonomic clip loading, which ensures optimum safety when setting the 1st clip with two-handed operation.
Semi-automatic clipping, full performance – and a food safety upgrade: the modular principle of the SCD 700 single clip machine tailored to your requirements
Practical and quick sealing with a single clip, hygienic and secure packaging: this is what the SCD 700 single-clip machine from Poly-clip System stands for, providing a user-friendly semiautomatic solution. It is optimally suited to the needs of tradespeople and their businesses as well as companies with smaller production volumes, enabling them to fully utilize the Poly-clip performance for their products. Product safety is of the utmost priority for the world market leader in clipping machines and supplier of complete clip closure solutions. This is why Polyclip System has further optimized the hygiene properties of the SCD 700 single clip machine.
The pneumatically operated, semi-automatic SCD 700 clipping machine closes various types of packaging such as plastic or natural casings up to 120 mm calibre. It also closes bags or nets using the individual clipping method in which only one clip is set at a time during the clipping operation. The easy-to-use semi-automatic machine offers a variety of setting options, such as clip pressure, sealing speed and sealing force, which can be customized to the specific product and carried out with repeat accuracy.
Hygienic design upgrade: further optimizing food safety
Clip machines from Poly-clip System, such as the semi-automatic clip machine SCD 700, meet the highest standards of hygiene and safety and comply with all regulations and standards for use in food processing plants. They are manufactured from high-quality stainless steel and industrial plastics and are characterized by smooth, easy-to-clean, and accessible surfaces. With a hygiene design upgrade, Poly-clip System is now setting new standards for further optimized food safety. Using laser technology to replace punching in the machine manufacturing process, perfectly flat surfaces, which are even easier to clean, are achieved. This enhances the hygiene properties of the SCD 700 single clipper –thereby providing users with maximum product safety.
Modular principle – optional features tailored to preferences
The semi-automatic machine offers a lot of flexibility through retrofitting options that follow the modular principle. The SCD 700 clip machine can be enhanced with optional features, including clip coding, for instance, for batch traceability. In this process, the stamp for coding can be set to three characters to easily encrypt production dates or batch/lot numbers. Other optional features include a pressure reducer with filter, pneumatic knife, automatic GSE looper , and more. Additionally, the SCD 700 clip machine is also available in a horizontal version.
