The search for future-proof packaging solutions is accelerating across the industry, driven by stricter sustainability goals and evolving EU regulations. Poly-clip System, the international manufacturer in clip-closure technologies, will showcase one of the most advanced developments at Fruit Logistica 2026, taking place from 4 to 6 February in Berlin. The company will present net-pak®, an innovative complete system made entirely from compostable components, designed to reduce environmental impact while maintaining high performance in fresh-produce packaging.
This new solution represents a significant step forward in circular packaging design and can be seamlessly integrated with the new Somi net clipper, expanding its application potential in modern, automated packaging lines. With net-pak®, Poly-clip System sets a new industry standard, offering manufacturers a technology that meets sustainability requirements without compromising efficiency.
Trade fair highlights: net-pak® system and Somi net clipper

At the centre of Poly-clip System’s presence at the world’s leading trade fair for the fresh produce industry will be the net-pak® system for packaging fruit and vegetables. It includes bio-nets, bio-clips and bio-labels that are fully compostable and certified to meet the relevant standards. With this, the packaging specialist presents a unique solution for net packaging. It offers retailers and packagers an innovative alternative to conventional plastic net packaging and supports their transition to more sustainable packaging options. The Somi net clipper, developed in collaboration with the Spanish company Damarc Agrobotic, is designed for producing net-pak®. It operates with the innovative DC N3 600 clip head, which is being used for the first time with fully compostable clip packaging. This technology allows manufacturers to transition to bio-compostable materials without the need for major adjustments.
