Strategic packaging and positioning: Berni renamed Écofines to L’Instant Berni

The redesigned “L’Instant Berni” range was launched in France in June 2025 by Berni, a specialist in French charcuterie. The range was previously known as “Écofines” and has now been updated as part of the brand’s modernisation strategy. This change elevates the line’s visual identity and reinforces its positioning at the shelf, supporting stronger recognition in-store.

The redesigned “L’Instant Berni” range was launched in France in June 2025 by Berni, a specialist in French charcuterie. The range was previously known as “Écofines” and has now been updated as part of the brand’s modernisation strategy. To achieve this transformation, Berni partnered with adapa, using digiflex as the digital printing solution. Through digiflex Berni was able to bring its new design concept to life with vibrant colours, refined details and consistent print quality across the entire range. The flexibility of digital printing enabled precise execution of the upgraded visual identity, ensuring harmony between all 12 products while maintaining a premium appearance.

At the same time, the high-performance films and technical expertise behind digiflex ensured reliable processing on packaging lines, fully aligned with Berni’s industrial standards. The project demonstrates how combining creative ambition with production efficiency can create measurable impact in the market.

Creative flexible packaging

Jean-Noël Pourprix, Managing Director at Berni, says: “The redesign of the L’Instant Berni range represents an important step in the modernisation of our offer. The collaboration with digiflex enabled us to achieve a level of print quality and finishing fully aligned with our industrial standards. Their expertise was instrumental in the success of this project.”

From adapa’s perspective, the success of the project highlights the added value of digiflex as a specialised digital printing solution within the Group. “This collaboration with Berni illustrates how digiflex enables brands to modernise their identity while maintaining full industrial reliability. By combining digital flexibility with technical know-how, we were able to support a coherent, high-impact product range tailored to market expectations,” adds Antoine Delattre, Sales Manager at adapa.

Since its launch, the renewed L’Instant Berni range has successfully established its upgraded identity on the French market. The project underlines how strategic design, digital printing expertise and strong partnership can drive brand differentiation and create shared value – reinforcing the role of digiflex as a catalyst for innovation within flexible packaging.
