IMA has just signed an agreement with OMAS Tecnosistemi, a renowned producer of high-tech tailored solutions in the cosmetics, make-up, and personal care industries, to purchase the majority of the company’s shares held by Savino Giudici.
The story of OMAS Tecnosistemi dates back to 1973 when Luigi Giudici founded OMG, a mechanical workshop that specialised in the production of contract dosing systems to be installed on automatic filling machines.
The fully automatic filling and capping lines for cosmetics, make-up, personal care and pharmaceutical
Thanks to the experience gained, in 1987 Savino Giudici founded OMAS Tecnosistemi, which was quickly transformed into a leading supplier of high-tech customised solutions.
Today the company, which is located in Cerro Maggiore, Milan, specialises in solutions for fully automatic filling and capping lines for the cosmetics, make-up, personal care and pharmaceutical industries.
The OMAS Tecnosistemi range of machines was already very broad, from product preparation to cleaning, from bottle and cap orientation and handling to filling, from capping to labelling, but the secondary packaging part of a complete line down to the pallet was missing.
A perfect combination to be an added value for the customers
It was here that IMA and OMAS Tecnosistemi realised that, together, they could become the “one-stop partner” in the cosmetics, make-up and personal care sectors, for filling and packaging lines of all kinds.
It was not long after the first meeting that the agreement was signed: this perfect combination will be an added value for customers.
This collaboration will officially start at the opening of the Cosmopack trade fair on 21 March in Bologna.
The slogan “Let’s care together” marks the commitment of IMA and OMAS Tecnosistemi towards their customers.
